Cedar Vista Motel

We had to come here because our other accommodation burned down a week before our trip. Conveniently located near all of the Tobermory stuff. This was really helpful and probably saved us a lot of time driving. Pet friendly (extremely, Jerry really loved our dog). Now it’s not the Ritz Carlton but it is comfortable and we got what we needed. I would have liked a microwave in the room but there was one in the office to use. It’s a bit pricy too but it’s height of tourist season in this area which is getting busier and busier each year. I would come back.

We (four adults and a toddler) stayed for one night and had a wonderful time. The staff were super friendly and quick to fix any issues (they even replaced a broken microwave right away). The trailer is a bit old but cozy — the beds were surprisingly comfortable. We loved relaxing by the fire pit under the beautiful night stars. Thank you for the balloon for our little one — we felt so welcomed and will definitely come back next time we’re in Tobermory!

Me, my wife and my dog stayed for the weekend and it was a very nice experience! Everything was clean, bed was comfy, good AC and very close to downtown Tobermory (by car or by foot).

I recently stayed at Cedar Vista Motel and had a fantastic experience. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The atmosphere was peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a long day. A special shoutout to Jerry, who made the stay even better. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. His hospitality truly made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and affordable place to stay, I highly recommend Cedar Vista Motel. And if you get the chance, talk to Jerry — he’s the best!

My mom and I stayed over August long weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jerry and he was very welcoming. We had arrived early and because the previous occupants checked out early Jerry had the room ready for us for early checkin. I had requested early checkin if possible and Jerry had no issues accommodating this request. I then went into the office and met the owner Alex who was also very welcoming. I had several questions and requests and Jerry and Alex were happy to answer all of them and help out with each request. They were both extremely accommodating during our entire stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the AC worked great! As did the Keurig. Thanks for the coffee and tea and making our stay enjoyable! My mom and I will definitely be back. Thank you Jerry and Alex!!

Stayed in the trailer with Family. It was fun. Everything was available and perfectly working in it. Stove, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Radio, AC, Washroom, two sinks, nice dinning table for 4 people. 5 people can sleep comfortably. Very private and clean. Like it. Price was also not bad. Thanks Alex and Jerry.

Very nice personal, Very nice staff, helpful and always available. there was no problem with anything. The room was quite large, the beds comfortable, the TV large and fully functional. We also had at our disposal a small cozy kitchen, in an extra room and a private bathroom with a bathtub. For a great price, great location, walking distance to the port. Close to everywhere. I highly recommend it.

By itself Motel is in a good location and the staff is friendly, but the rooms were a little dirty and the place could use some light renovations. It’s okay for a short stay, but could use some improvements.
